JCPS 2017 EISINGER TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

Jefferson City Public Schools is thrilled to announce the six educators selected as the 2017 Eisinger Teacher of the Year award finalists:
  • Rhonda Allen, Thorpe Gordon Elementary, 4th Grade
  • Jordan Hart, Jefferson City High School, English
  • Carrie Martin, East Elementary, Librarian
  • Rhiannon McKee, Jefferson City High School, Science
  • Kim Sellers, Jefferson City Academic Center, English
  • Jason Starke, North Elementary, 3rd Grade

The Teacher of the Year Selection Committee, comprised of Jefferson City area community members, chose finalists based on their written applications submitted in February. The selection committee will soon interview the six finalists in-person. The Eisinger Teacher of the Year and Eisinger Outstanding Educator Award recipient will be named at JCPS’ annual Teacher Appreciation Banquet on April 27 at Lewis & Clark Middle School.
