Key Club International is the oldest and largest service leadership organization for teens, teaching leadership through service to others in schools across the world.  Key Club has 250,000 members within 5,000 clubs in 30 nations like North America, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Key Club members make a difference in their communities and the world by organizing a variety of service projects and fundraisers to support local and global organizations that are in need of help from volunteers to further their causes.
Since the inception of Key Club at JCHS 7 years ago, Our club has raised $28,000 for United Way to help local organizations support the many needs of people in Jefferson City and surrounding areas over the past 4 years.  We have raised $4,000 for UNICEF to combat neonatal tetanus through Project Eliminate, an international effort coordinated by Kiwanis.  We have also raised $10,000 for HALO, a local organization that works with youth in need of extra supports.   We volunteer in multiple capacities in partnership with local organizations as well as read with, and mentor, elementary students at Thorpe Gordon Elementary.
