- Thanks for visiting my classroom page. I greatly enjoy working with and am extremely committed to students who are experiencing difficulty in a traditional classroom. As part of JCAC-Middle, I get to focus on teaching Math and Life Skills with 6th-8th graders.
- I'm a 1991 graduate of University of Missouri-St. Louis, with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, with a minor in Social Studies. I earned my Masters Degree from Mizzou in 2009, with an emphasis on aliteracy (the ability but unwillingness to read). I've taught in Early Childhood Special Education, a K-8th grade one-room school on an island in Maine, 2nd & 3rd grade multiage, 4th grade, and 6th-8th grade communication arts. Since 2012, I have had the pleasure of working in alternative settings with pre-teens and teens from 6th through 12th grade, teaching just about every subject imaginable.
- I hold Career CPCs (Continuous Professional Certificates) in Early Childhood Education PreK-3rd, Elementary Education 1-8, Social Studies 4-8, Language Arts 5-9, and English 9-12.
- I relax by trying to keep my DVR below 50% full or spending time with family.
