Course Description:U.S. History is the study of U.S. history from the Gilded Age to the present. Major world events, such as immigration, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Cold War and Vietnam War, are studied from a U.S. perspective but include relevant incidents from world history. Emphasis is placed on how the past has shaped the U.S. today.
Prerequisite: World History or AP European History or Perspectives of Citizenship.
