Greetings students, parents, and community of Jefferson City. This is my 10th year of teaching! I met my wife in college where we both attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Education. During my teaching experience, I pursued and completed a Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in the fall of 2016. I currently teach an evening class at the Columbia College campus here in Jefferson City.
My wife, Nicole, teaches ESL online to students in China, works at JCHS as an ELL tutor, and stays home with our two daughters on her off days. We enjoy being parents and hope that our kids grow up to love mid-Missouri as much as we do.
In my free time you may find me reading, cycling, fishing, hiking, playing basketball with my daughters, or watching a good series on Netflix with my wife. I have a 6-year old German shepherd named Roman who loves to eat bubbles and snuggle with his blanky.
I hope to meet you at some point and welcome any questions that you may have. Go Jays!
