    Show-Me Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society
    Chapter Scholarships
    The Show-Me Chapter offers a $2000 scholarship for a high school senior, or undergraduate, planning to major in conservation or a natural resources-related field.  This is an essay contest.  Information can be found at http://www.moswcs.org/scholarship/.  Please encourage any eligible students to apply.  Applications must be postmarked by November 26th (Monday after Thanksgiving).

    Conservation Foundation of Missouri Scholarship
    CFMO offers 5 - $1000 scholarships to high school seniors or undergraduates in different natural resources areas.  Preference will be given to those demonstrating financial need.  Applications must be submitted by January 31.  Information can be found at on the same website, at http://www.moswcs.org/scholarship/.  



    Mediacom World Class Scholars Scholarship Program

    For the 2018-19 school year, Mediacom Communications is again offering 55- $1,000, non-renewable scholarships through its World Class Scholarship Program to seniors in high school in the 21 states where it provides cable, internet and television services.  While not required that the student be a Mediacom customer, applicants must live in the areas served by Mediacom. All completed scholarship applications must include an essay on leadership, the applicant’s school transcript and two filled-out recommendation forms.  Completed applications should be sent to: World Class Scholarship Program, 3737 Westown Parkway, Suite A, West Des Moines, IA  50266.

    Deadline is February 15, 2019.  Scholarship applications can be picked up in the counseling office.

    MASFAP Who’s Making a Difference Scholarship (The Missouri Association of Student Financial aid Personnel)    Deadline: 10/31/2018

    The Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP) is dedicated to serving students and opening avenues to access the benefits of higher education and advocating for the maintenance of high ethical standards in the financial aid profession. Through early awareness and outreach we strive to help students to achieve and fulfill their dreams of a post- secondary education. We want to know who is making a difference and inspiring you to fulfill your dreams of a post-secondary education! Share your inspiring story with us and be considered for a one-time $1,000 scholarship.
    Eligibility:
    **Open to any 2019 Graduating Senior from a Missouri High School planning to attend a private or   public 2 or 4 year institution, or vocational-technical school in Missouri in fall 2019.

    -Begin by clicking the blue "apply now" button
    -Create a login and password    
    -Complete the General Application (this is a profile)
    -After submitting the General Application, students will see a list of “recommended opportunities.”  These are opportunities for which they might be qualified.
    -Click the opportunity name for more details.
    -Click the orange “apply” button to answer additional required questions.
