  • This is my 11th year at Jefferson City Public Schools. This is the first year Capital City High School is open and I am so excited to be part of the staff opening this building. Previously, I taught seven years teaching at Simonsen 9th Grade Center and Jefferson City High School for three years. 
     
    I graduated from Jefferson City High School in 2004. I then attended University of Central Missouri where I earned a Bachelors in Education, Biology in 2009. I completed my student teaching at AFNorth NATO Base in Brunnsum, Netherlands.  In 2012 I graduated with a Masters in Education from William Woods University. In 2016 I finished course work for a special education administration certification. I graduated in December 2018 with an Elementary Math Specialist Degree from the University of Central Missouri. Currently, I am working on my Educational Doctorate Degree through William Woods University. I have certifications in Special Education, Biology, Mathematics, Secondary Administration, and Special Education Administration.
     
    My family consists of 3 kids, they are sons aged 13 and 9, a daughter who is 6, and my husband. We also have a cat and a dog.
