Mrs. Rosburg graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a BS in Education and a major in Earth Science and Geology. Upon graduation she worked at Steelville Public Schools for seven years. During that time, Mrs. Rosburg was selected to serve as a STARR teacher (Select Teacher As Regional Resources). After her dedicated service as a STARR teacher she was recruited to the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formally UMR) to assist the Dean of Mines and Metallurgy. While in that capacity Mrs. Rosburg was instrumental in organizing and establishing the Jackling Institute for teachers, a statewide mining workshop for teachers, and WYSE competition (Worldwide Youth Science and Engineering).After working at the University, Mrs. Rosburg returned to classroom at Rolla Public Schools.In 2005 Mrs. Rosburg moved to the Jefferson City area and received her real estate licence and worked under the direction of Bill Gratz Real Estate. In 2006, Rosburg was the first Science teacher to be selected to serve in the Jefferson City Academic Center. At JCAC, Rosburg teachers Biology, GeoAstronomy, Forestry, Small Animals, Textiles and Horticulture. While serving at JCAC, Rosburg was the first teacher to be selected as the "Inspire By Example" state award and was a Teacher of the Year Finalist in 2010.
