Qualifications to be a Paraprofessional
An individual will be eligible if they have ANY ONE of the following:
- 60 college hours
- Associates degree or higher
- Passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment - Para Pathways
- Completed MO 20 hour online substitute training - Substitute Teaching Training
Many local universities are offering incentives for working paraprofessionals to obtain undergraduate and graduate credit while they work. Contact information is below:
