Bus Route Information

Bus stop information for the current school year is available only by calling Student Transportation of America at 402-1624.  An electronic link is not available at the present time.  As a safety precaution, entire bus routes are only available upon request at the school of attendance.

Snow Route Information

In the event of inclement weather, our district will often use "snow routes" to help our students and school buses get safely to and from school. These alternate routes allow the buses to run on most major thoroughfares, while avoiding some of the more difficult roads.

Because of the wide variety of roads and terrain on which we operate in both Cole and Callaway Counties, it is not uncommon for roads to be fully passable in some areas of the District while others are still iced or snow-covered. On some days, we may operate full routes in some areas, while still running snow routes in others.

If winter weather forces the buses to operate on snow routes, these announcements will be made in the same way all inclement weather-related notifications are shared (that information can be found here). Please listen to the announcements carefully to get information specific to your area or bus route.

2024-2025 Snow Routes

The 2024-2025 snow routes for all Jefferson City School District buildings are listed below, sorted by schools. Please click on the appropriate school link below to see any exceptions to your students' regular bus route for inclement weather operations.

Please remember that all times for snow route meeting points are estimated as closely as possible, but times may vary, depending on road conditions. Please have your students at the designated meeting points in plenty of time.

Also, please ensure that your students dress warmly and appropriately in case the bus is running late, or even if they are standing out waiting for the bus to arrive at the scheduled time in the mornings or while loading buses at school in the afternoon.

If you do not find snow route information for your route/school in the lists below, please call Student Transportation of America at (573) 402-1624 for additional information. This snow route information is also available through the school office or the school that your child attends.
