  • Hello! My name is Brittney Rose and I am so excited for a great year at Callaway Hills! I am the Behavior Interventionist and will work with all kids and staff at Callaway Hills.

I am originally from Sand Springs, Oklahoma, a suburb of Tulsa.  I have a brother who are both in college. They are both really active in sports. My brother recently became a State Champion wrestler, and is an amazing running back as well. My sister is a gal after my own heart and is a really talented basketball player. My dad was the one that taught me to play basketball and really encouraged me to dream big and go as far as I could with it.  He is my hero. My family all still lives in Oklahoma, but we try to visit each other whenever we can.

After I graduated from high school I made the journey to Fulton, Missouri to attend college at Westminster.  Go Bluejays!  While I was at Westminster I played basketball all four years, and softball for one year.  I graduated in 2009 with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education.  I plan to continue my education next fall and work towards my Master's Degree.

After college I accepted my first full-time teaching position as a 3rd Grade Teacher, in Fulton.  I also coached girls basketball and volleyball at Fulton Middle School for two years.  Then I accepted another 3rd grade position at Moreau Heights, and taught for 4 years. I joined Callaway Hills last year teaching 5th grade. I am currently in my 9th year of teaching.

In October 2012, I got married to a pretty cool guy named Zach.  He graduated from Lincoln University and is more of a sports fanatic than I am, although I can still beat him in basketball. We will celebrate our 6 year anniversary in two short months! We are also welcoming a baby boy in November!

When I am not teaching or at school I love to cook (you might see me on Master Chef one day ha!), read (of course!), beat my husband in one-on-one basketball, play with my two dogs (Roxy and Rocky), and attempt to be crafty.

I love that I am a Cougar now, and am looking forward to a fabulous year!
