    Dear Parents,

For the week of May 4 - 8, the new schedule of distance learning assignments are on my website under the distance learning tab and well as in the packet you received.  In this week's packet, there is the daily iReady math and reading lessons as well as social studies and science lessons.

Summer School information is in the newsletter and you should receive a letter about it and how to sign up.  Thank you again for your continued hard work and flexibility.  If you need anything please do not hesitate to connect with us.

Every day, students should be working on iReady math and reading lessons, read their independent reading book, social studies and science, as well as the assignments from art, music, pe, and counseling.  Some students have been spending way too much time on Google chat instead of working on their daily assignments.  Please communicate with your child the importance of doing their daily assignments.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Adams

MRS. ADAMS’ CLASS Week of  May 26-28

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

    Don't forget:  5th Grade Promotion - Wednesday, May 27 (8:30-10:00 a.m.).

2020 SUMMER SEND OFF DRIVE-THRU PARADE:
This Thursday, May 28 from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m., Lawson Staff and Administration will be holding a summer send off drive-thru parade to head into the summer with a reminder that we miss our students and look forward to seeing them in the 2020-2021 school year.

We hope you can join us by driving through our back parking lot/playground area (just as you would for parent pick-up) and we will have a parade of staff lined up around the circumference of the driveway leading to the playground and on the playground.

Follow the same direction you would to typically pick up your child at the end of a school day and you will be in the parade. To respect social distancing and keep the parade moving, we ask that you and your children remain in your vehicles but feel free to leave the car windows down to enjoy the parade and to give shout outs as you pass the various staff members standing outside.

This is the last day of school on Thursday, May 28th so if it is lightly raining we will be there, but if it is pouring down rain, you will be notified in this same manner at 3:00 p.m. the afternoon of the event. This Summer Send Off Drive-Thru event will have no rain make-up date.

It has been a blessing to have your child in my class.  I will miss them!!

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Adams
