Berendzen, Jays wrestling claim honors at tourney
ST. LOUIS -- Will Berendzen set a program record Saturday as the Jefferson City Jays romped to the team title at the Cody Greene Memorial Tournament hosted by Seckman High School.
In the semifinals at 182 pounds, Berendzen won by fall in :05 against Jacob Sauer of C.B.C. for the quickest win in Jefferson City history.
