School Start & End Times

All Elementary Schools

• Start: 7:45 a.m. –  End: 2:45 p.m.
• Buildings will open for students at 7:15 a.m.

All High Schools

• Start: 8:40 a.m. –  End: 3:40 p.m.
• Buildings will open for students at 8:10 a.m.
• Zero period students are allowed in the building prior to 8:10 a.m. (when the class begins). They must enter through an approved entry and remain under the direct supervision of the teacher.
• Clubs and organizations may meet before/after school. They must enter through an approved entry and remain under the direct supervision of the sponsor/coach/teacher.

All Middle Schools

• Start: 8:50 a.m. –  End: 3:50 p.m.
• Buildings will open for students at 8:20 a.m.
• Before school care options begin as early as 7:00 a.m.
• Students MUST be enrolled in one of the before-school programs in order to be dropped off before 8:20 a.m.

Jefferson City Early Childhood Center

• Preschool - 7:40 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
• Early Childhood Special Education - AM Session: 7:15-10:15 a.m., PM Session: 11:15-2:15 p.m.

Nichols Career Center

• Start:  7:55 a.m. - 2:46 p.m.
