“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” – Margaret Fuller
My name is Fatima Madondo. I was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina. I moved to Jefferson City soon after I graduated from high school in 2000. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have one amazing daughter who will be a college freshman this year!
I earned my degree from Lincoln University in Elementary Education in May 2011. I earned my Masters in Elementary Administration (2017) and Reading Instruction (2023) from William Woods University.
This will be my fourteenth year of teaching but my sixth year as a literacy interventionist at North and I am ecstatic to continue my role! I previously taught 1st and 3rd grades for JCPS. As a literacy interventionist, I will be providing additional systematic/explicit literacy-based instruction to eligible students. I am looking forward to helping our students learn and grow as readers and writers.
