West Elementary

Welcome to 5th Grade! I am looking forward to an amazing year with all of you.

We will learn a lot this year, and have a lot of fun while doing so! In math, we will challenge ourselves to think in different ways, to deepen our curiosity and become problem-solvers, and learn and grow alongside each other. In science, we will try new things, become scientists, and learn to always ask questions to deepen our understanding. In ELA, we will challenge ourselves with the types of books we read, grow as writers and authors, and strengthen our knowledge of English and reading comprehension. In social studies, we will discover new things about our history and our country, and look at the world around us through a learning lens. Overall, we will be our kind, honest, and genuine selves, always.
