  • I was born and raised in St. Charles, MO.  My parents have been married for 50 years! I have one older sister who lives in Hannibal, MO and is also a teacher! My husband's name is Jake.  We have one tweleve year daughter named Mackenzie.  Mackenzie is a Seventh grader at Thomas Jefferson Middle School! We have another daughter named Carly who is six! She begins First grade at Belair this year. Our son, Sawyer, will turn five in December this year! We really enjoy spending time together as a family! We like to play, have fun, and laugh.

I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Central Missouri State University in 2001. I taught 2nd grade for three years in the Fort Zumwalt School District. I received my Master's Degree in Administration in 2003 from Lindenwood University. I received my Education Specialist degree from William Woods University in December, 2011.

I moved to Jefferson City in 2004 when I got married. I taught 1st grade at Moreau Heights for one year and then moved to Belair. I taught third grade at Belair for 10 years.  This is the beginnning of my fifth year in second grade.  I am looking forward to an amazing year with my students!
