I was born and raised in St. Charles, MO. My parents have been married for 55 years! I have one older sister who lives in Hannibal, MO, and just retired from being an elementary music teacher! My husband's name is Jake. We have one seventeen-year-old daughter named Mackenzie. Mackenzie is a senior at Capital City High School! We have another daughter named Carly, who is eleven! She is in sixth grade at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. Our son, Sawyer, is nine and is in fourth grade at Belair! We really enjoy spending time together as a family! We like camping, being involved in our church, having fun, and laughing.
I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Central Missouri State University in 2001. I taught 2nd grade for three years in the Fort Zumwalt School District. I received my Master's Degree in Administration in 2003 from Lindenwood University. I received my Education Specialist degree from William Woods University in December 2011.
I moved to Jefferson City in 2004 when I got married. I taught 1st grade at Moreau Heights for one year and then moved to Belair. I taught third grade at Belair for 10 years. This is the beginning of my tenth year in second grade. I look forward to an amazing year with my students as we learn new things together!
