Hello, my name is Amanda Jackson. This is my eighteenth year in education, my twelfth here at North. I was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri and I still live there! I went to Lawson, West, Thomas Jefferson, Simonsen, and Jefferson City High School. I attended the University of Central Missouri, but then it was called Central Missouri State University. I have a Masters in Teaching and Technology from William Woods University. I also have the Library Media Specialist Certificate to be a Librarian.
When I am not working on things for our library, I love to play with my niece Kaylee, and nephews Kane, Ryker, Liam, Wilson, Bryton, Weston, and McCoy. My husband and I have a dog named Gus. I also love to read books and go to concerts. I love volunteering in and around Central Missouri. I look forward to seeing what our students are reading this year!
