  • My name is Amy Bochat, this is my second year as the instructional coach here at East Elementary. I am so I get to work with this fabulous team of staff and students!

    I have lived in Jefferson City my entire life and attended Jefferson City Public Schools. After graduation I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Previouly I taught at Thorpe Gordon Elementary where I taught 5th grade for 10 years and was a reading interventionist for 2 years. 

    I enjoy spending time with my husband Todd, my daughter Alli (13) who will be starting 8th grade at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, and my son Ethan (5).  When I am not at school I enjoy camping with friends and family, spending time outside, and reading a good book!
