Hello Callaway families! My name is Malissa Pistel, and this is my 28th year in public education and my seventh year at Callaway Hills. I have taught in both lower and upper elementary classrooms and am eMints certified. I am married, and have a son, Jeremy, who will be turning twelve in October and will soon be a LC Trailblazer. I currently reside in my hometown of Fulton, where I attended college at Westminster and graduate school at William Woods University.
I am excited about the 2022-2023 school year as I begin my principalship at Callaway Hills. I look forward to working with all students, families and staff throughout the school year. I am certain this will be an amazing year of learning and growth for all CH Cougars!
I truly believe in the power of teamwork. Parents, teachers, students, and administration can cooperatively create the most positive learning experience possible. Working together towards the common goal of student success is a necessity and is the heart of all we value at Callaway. As a team, we can help our students become life-long learners and productive, happy citizens. Together WE Can Achieve the Extraordinary!
