My name is Ann Clervi. I graduated from William Woods University in December of 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Concentration in Early Childhood. In 2011, I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Master of Education in Learning, Teaching and Curriculum.
This year will be my 17th year teaching. I started my teaching career at the YMCA preschool in Mexico, Missouri. While working at this job, I realized that I had a passion for teaching and at that time decided to go to college and earn a degree in education. I was thirty-five years old. Going to college and becoming a teacher has been one of the best decisions of my life. For the 2015-2016 school year, I was awarded Teacher of the Year for the North Callaway School District.
I was also awarded the Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education Outstanding Beginning Teacher Award. I have also served as secretary and board member for the Mexico Therapy and Early Childhood Education School.
I am married to Art Clervi and we reside in Fulton, Missouri. Our children are Elizabeth (Steven), Samuel (Jill) and Matthew (Mahayla). We also have two grandchildren, Maxwell and Miles. I love decorating, flower gardening and being a teacher.
I am looking forward to a great school year. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
