Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Long's class!

My name is Jennifer Long, and I am so excited to be teaching at North School! I graduated from Lincoln University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education in December 2014. I will graduate with my Masters in Elementary Reading in September. I grew up in Columbia, MO, but have lived all over the state of Missouri. The 2024-2025 school year will be my tenth year of teaching. I spent my first 3 years teaching 5th grade in Mexico, MO. This will be my seventh year teaching Kindergarten. I love this age and seeing the eagerness to learn from my students! I believe that all children can learn, and I am thrilled to be a part of the start of your child's learning journey! I'm looking forward to making this a great year with you and your student! 

In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband Ryan, family, and friends, cooking/baking, reading, going to games, and hanging out with our dogs, Annie and Loki.

Some of my favorites include pizza, giraffes, the color green, Amazon, Target, Chick Fil A, and the Cardinals, Tigers, Blues, and Chiefs.
