About Atout
I was born and raised in mid-Missouri. I attended Jefferson City High School when I was younger and graduated a Jay! After high school, I attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Spanish. I earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University. Throughout my teaching experience, I taught sixth grade for three years in Eldon, Missouri, and I taught second, third, and fourth grades at Thorpe Gordon Elementary over the past seven years. I am excited about beginning my eleventh year in education as East Elementary's librarian!
I married my husband, Waleed Atout, in July 2011. My husband and I moved to Independence, Missouri for a short time before moving to St. Louis, Missouri for my husband's job. My husband and I lived in St. Louis for a year before moving back to Jefferson City in August 2012 and currently live in Wardsville. My husband and I have 5-year-old twins! They are the highlight of our lives! Our family would not be complete without our fur babies! I have three dogs and one cat, and all of them love to sleep the day away on the couch.
