Hello!  My name is Julie Sooter.  I am a native of Jefferson City.  I attended the University of Central Missouri.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Early Childhood.  Shortly after, I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University.  I have my certificate as a Library Media Specialist.  I have taught kindergarten for 24 years.  This will be my first year as a Librarian.  I am looking forward to promoting reading to the students and collaborating with my fellow teachers.  I am very excited about this new adventure!
