Hello, Cedar Hill! My name is Michelle Komoroski. Most of my students usually call me Mrs. K. I grew up in St. Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School. I then went to Fontbonne University in St. Louis where I met my husband, Nick, and earned my degree in Elementary Education. I taught for a handful of years and then became a stay-at-home mom to our two daughters, Emma(18) and Evie(15). We moved to Holts Summit almost 9 years ago and, since then, I have been teaching. Last year was my first year at Cedar Hill as a 5th-grade teacher. I have my Master's of Education in Mental Health Practices in Schools from MIZZOU. My husband works in Columbia and we enjoy spending time there, especially going to MIZZOU football tailgates. Our daughter will be attending MIZZOU this fall! In our free time, we like to spend time outdoors and spoiling our Border Collie, Gypsy, our French Bulldog, Lulu, our Maine Coon cat, Dave Meowthews aka Davey, and our tuxedo cat, Binx. I am currently working on my Education Specialist degree, which keeps me busy outside of school. I am so excited to be taking on my new role as the behavior interventionist this year!
