Hi! My name is Joshua Ferguson. I am excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher this year! I am looking forward to a year of learning, imagination and fun!

I graduated from Lincoln University with a bachelors in Marketing in 2012. In 2018 I earned my Masters in Teaching from Columbia College. For the past 13 years I have worked at the YMCA under many titles with the most recent being the Assistant School-Aged Childcare Director. At the Y, I worked hands on with kids of many different background. In my early years working at the Y, I recognized my desire to impact children in a positive way and to see them develop into young adults. I can't wait to continue my journey as a Cedar Hill Sky Hawk! 

I am a 2007 Jefferson City High School graduate. This summer I got married to my wife Kristen. She is also a teacher in the district. I enjoy basketball, biking and snowboarding. I am also a fan of the arts! I love to sing, dance and draw. I can't wait to infuse the arts in my classroom to enhance your child's learning!
