THORPE GORDON STEM ACADEMY

   Hello!  My name is Mrs. Shelley Kleene.  I am a native of Jefferson City, Missouri.  I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and Lincoln University.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1994.  Shortly after, I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University.  In 2019, I earned a Certification in Dyslexia Remediation through the University of San Diego and the Dyslexia Training Institute in San Diego.  I have taught for over 25 years in a variety of settings: preschool, a paraprofessional in a kindergarten room, homebound teaching, remedial summer school, enrichment summer school, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. This will be my eighth year as an instructional coach at Thorpe Gordon STEM Academy.  I'm looking forward to another wonderful year of working with teachers and students, guiding and encouraging them to move from being great to being even greater:)
