My name is Lacey Tucker and I am in my eighth year of teaching! I earned my degree at Mizzou in K-12 Instrumental Music Education. I grew up in Ava, Missouri -- a small town near the Missouri/Arkansas border; however, over the past few years I have found a new love for mid-Missouri. Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I began playing the saxophone in 6th grade and continued throughout college. Now I love getting to sing, dance, and play with my Thorpe Gordon Music Makers every day!
Outside of school, I am a dog mom to two boxer dogs, Jackson and Lily! They are both completely white, and have hearing loss. They love playing with each other and finding new things to chew one!
Music at the elementary level is my passion and I am so excited to be teaching your students. If you have any questions for me, please feel free to send me an e-mail, give me a call, or drop by the music room!
