Being from Jefferson City, I am excited to continue teaching in Jefferson City School District for my 7th year. I found my passion for teaching when I was very young; I was fortunate to have some of the best teachers at East Elementary School! I find joy in watching students grow their knowledge over time. My goal is to be the tool that every student needs in order for them to reach their full potential. 

One of my favorite quotes reminds me to "focus on the journey, not the destination". When we put more energy toward our journey, our destination will come easily! 

During our free time, my husband Keith and I enjoy taking care of our dogs, Lucy and Jack, going to baseball and football games, and having barbecues.
