Hi! I am Heather Nelson. 

I am looking forward to my fourth year at Thorpe Gordon STEM Academy as the Behavior Interventionist.  I know the role of Behavior Interventionist is a challenging one, but I have a passion for helping kids who find emotions and behaviors difficult to maneuver. I look forward to diving into social skills and seeing the amazing progress of my students. I also love working with the staff to build their skill sets. 

 

I have been married to my husband, Jon, for 20 years. He is a pastor at a local church called Soma Community Church, which is a large part of our lives. I will have 4 kiddos.  Each one is as different as the last and I love being their mama. I also enjoy a side business as a professional photographer.
