I am one of the speech-language pathologists at Pioneer Trail Elementary, and I provide speech-language services to students of all ages, Kindergarten - 5th. I LOVE MY JOB! I love being able to work with students each and every day to help them improve their communication skills both at school and home. Communication is such an important aspect of all our lives. As a team, we will work together to help improve your child's ability to communicate. Whether it is the use of adequate speech sounds, grammar, vocabulary, social skills, and more. This will help to improve interactions with family, friends, and teachers throughout their lives.
This is my 9th year working at Pioneer Trail Elementary. I received both my Bachelor degree and my Masters at the University of Central Missouri studying Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders.
I was born and raised in Jefferson City and now feel so fortunate to help children in our community grow and learn. I want each child to know how special they are, realize their talents and potential, and dream BIG!
A little bit about myself...My husband, Michael Todd, and I have 3 children, Maxwell (6), Aaron (3), and Lillian (9 months). Max, Aaron, and Lilly are my pride and joy along with our dog, Ernie. We love going for evening walks, hanging out with friends and family, relaxing on the Osage River, watching movies, and getting organized! We are big Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fans!
