Hibdon, Sara / Meet the Teacher

Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Sara Hibdon and we are going to have a great time this year learning and making memories. A little about myself...I grew up in Jefferson City where I attended Moreau Heights Elementary, Lewis and Clark Middle School and Jefferson City High School. After high school, I moved to Chicago, IL, where I lived for about 4 years. I then moved to St. Louis where I worked and attended school before returning to Jefferson City. Nothing beats home sweet home. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Lincoln University and my master's degree from Columbia College. I am certified to teach age birth through sixth grade.

My boyfriend Jesse and I have a sweet baby boy, Ronin, who will be two in November. I have a 9-year-old daughter, Ella; a 12-year-old son, Ethan, and two bonus kids, Miles and Marshall. At home, we also have a very energetic dog named Loki. Some of my favorites are spending time with my family, Dr. Pepper, coffee, working out, anything Marvel and Star Wars.

I'm excited to be part of your child's learning adventures. My hope is to make each day fun and exciting and to instill the love of learning in each one of my students.
