• Welcome to 2nd Grade at Pioneer Trail Elementary.  My name is Ashley White and I am excited to be teaching at Pioneer Trail this year.  I grew up in Steelville, MO where I attended K-12.  I ventured off to college at the University of Central Missouri where I obtained a degree in Early Childhood Education and I am also certified in Elementary Education. I currently obtained my Masters of Art in Teaching from Columbia College. This year will be my 12th year teaching all together.  This will be my first year teaching 2nd grade. I previously taught Kindergarten here for 6 years.   There is nothing more rewarding than shaping the minds of young children and watching them learn and grow into independent learners.
     
    I live here in Jefferson City, MO with my husband Chris and our son Levi.  Having a little guy (4 almost 5 year old) and a little girl on the way keeps us busy.  Our weekends usually include spending time with family and friends.  We enjoy going mud racing with my family and spending time in Steelville. I also enjoy scrapbooking and all kinds of craft projects.
