Hello!

My name is Mrs. Puente and I am so excited to be back at Pioneer Trail this year to teach fourth grade. I am so incredibly excited about starting this school year with you!

A few things about me:

I am originally from Owensville, Mo. My husband, Jamie, and I moved to Jefferson City in 2020. We have a beautiful, sassy, smart 2.5 year-old, Carmen, and a tiny guard dog named Sooner. I have been working for JCPS since August 2019 as a speech language pathology assistant and decided to make a change last year to teach in a classroom! While working for JCPS I have worked at Lawson, Pioneer Trail, and South. In my free time I like to read, cook, craft and build forts with Carmen. My husband and I have also both competed in powerlifting and play disc golf when the weather is nice.
