Welcome to third grade!  I can’t wait to meet my new students and start our learning adventure together.  I am in my 4th year of teaching.  I grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated high school there.  I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University.  WGU is an online university that allowed me to work on my course work and attend class while working full time and taking care of my family.

I have 4 kids - Grantland and Abigail are in their senior and sophomore years at Capital City.  Ella is in 8th grade at Thomas Jefferson Middle School.  And Jack is a 5th grader at Pioneer Trail.  We have two fur babies - our sweet cats, Callie and Loki.

In my free time, I enjoy reading and traveling with my kids.  Family movie nights are a favorite in our house.
