Hello! My name is Katelyn VanderFeltz. I was born and raised in Jefferson City, MO. After graduating from Fatima High School in Westphalia, MO, I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I received my Bachelor in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2022. Shortly after, I continued my education at the University of Missouri-Columbia where I earned my Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology in 2024. During my graduate program experience, I had the opportunity to work with a variety of children with different needs including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), language, speech, and fluency disorders, as well as children with developmental delay. I am creative, hard-working, and determined to meet each of my students' needs by developing individualized and functional therapy. This is my first year at Lawson Elementary, and I am so excited to get started and watch each of my students grow throughout the year! :)
