Hi!

I am thrilled to join the Lawson Family this year! This marks my twenty-seventh year in education. My experience spans teaching all grades from K-6, with the exception of third grade; teaching Title I Reading and Math; and serving as a Learning Specialist. I am passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives and look forward to collaborating with the outstanding Lawson staff to plan and teach in ways that help our students reach their goals!

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Central Methodist University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lindenwood University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University.

My husband and I live in Columbia with our six daughters: Erin (married to Tyler), Anne, Molly, Hadley, Darby, and Layne. We were blessed with our first grandchild, Everly Joy, this past February. Our girls keep us busy, and we cherish spending time with them and enjoying their many activities and adventures!
