Hello! It's nice to e-meet you. My name is Alina Weitkamp, and this is my first year teaching at Lewis and Clark Middle School. I'm so happy to be the 8th Grade Team Target ELA Writing Teacher. 

Formerly, I taught English as a Second Language abroad for two years in Chiapas, Mexico and Frankfurt, Germany. I cherish those years because it was then that I realized just how much I love teaching and transforming lives. 

I live in Linn Creek, Missouri with my husband and a very playful 1-year-old German Shepherd, Bowie. (Yes, like David Bowie.) I'm an avid reader and passionate writer. I love to travel to new places, take nature walks and watch all kinds of movies.
