BS English MEd Curriculum and Instruction

Mrs. Christina Ward

Welcome; I can't wait to work with you this year!

A few things about me. . . I attended Drury University, earning a BS in English and a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction.  I have been in education since 1998 and started teaching in 2000.  I have been at Lewis and Clark since  the 2019-2020 school year.  I  moved to Jefferson City, because my husband is from this area and continues to own his own plumbing business here in Jefferson City.  We have one student at Lewis and Clark Middle School and two at Jefferson City High School this year, so I am very excited to be a team member of Jefferson City Public Schools!

My husband Tom and I enjoy riding motorcycles (Tom rides a Harley Ultra Limited Low and I ride a Harley Street Glide Special), camping and spending time with our family. I am also the ProPresenter, a fancy way of saying I run the visual slides, for Christian Motorcyclists Association state events.  My husband and I are members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA), Jefferson City Chapter: Son Rise Riders. We ride and attend events and rallies, interacting with other motorcyclists; we are local missionaries on wheels and are "there if you need us."

I am looking forward to a PHENOMENAL school year working with your student as they gain the knowledge to make them successful, life-long learners. I believe that education is the foundation to a successful future.

I love reading and I will endeavor to instill a love of reading and literature in every student in my class.

My classroom is full of teachers because I learn daily from my students. This will be an exciting year with the brightest, most creative, and imaginative students in the district!

Very Respectfully,

Mrs. Christina Ward
