Hello, my name is Tara Schnieders and I teach 2nd grade at Lawson.    I received my Bachelor's in Education and Master's in Education at Lincoln University.  This is my 27th year teaching.    I taught 5th and 4th grade before moving to 2nd grade.  This is my sixth year teaching 2nd grade.  I love watching 2nd graders become more confident in reading and grow more independent and more confident.

 

In my spare time, I love to read and watch movies.   Action movies are my favorite!  I love to spend time with my family at the Lake of the Ozarks.  I love to shop with my four sisters.  I especially love Target.  I enjoy watching football and March Madness.  I am a huge Notre Dame and Kansas City Chiefs football fan.  I attend a lot of sporting events, school events, and birthdays for my 20 nieces and nephews.  I love to garden and enjoy the outdoors as long as my allergies will permit it.
