I grew up in Lee's Summit, MO, and I've lived in Jefferson City for 11 years now and love it. I'm a veteran of the armed forces and an Eagle Scout. I enjoy being active through a variety of sports and outdoor activities. I will be married for 10 years this October. We have a son who is going into 2nd grade, and our daughter is in Kindergarten this year! 

This will be my second year teaching at Lewis and Clark, and I couldn't think of a better place to be! I have a broad history of working with students in a variety of institutions. I believe that no matter what, our students can learn, overcome, and prosper through learning opportunities. I believe the most fundamental aspect of teaching is building positive relationships with students. I pride myself on being able to meet students where they are and help them. I want our room to be a safe, comfortable place where students can be themselves and ask for help without feeling guilty or ashamed. I want them to continue to empower themselves to take charge of their choices and education.
