Our district has adopted a new curriculum that changes what science engagement looks and sounds like in the classroom. Students will spend time collaborating, talking, answering questions, building, experimenting, reading, and investigating various topics from Earth Science, Life Science, and Physical Science. The Units that will be covered include: Thermal Energy, Contact Forces, Forces at a Distance, Earth In Space, Natural Selection and Ancestry. Throughout our lessons, active thinking and willingness to take risks will be important this year. I will be available and support every one of you in all our activities that we tackle.
Students, please bring a pencil, notebook, a charged Chromebook, and an open or growth mindset. I am so excited to see what we will be able to do this year!
