My name is Rhonda Allen-Lewis and this will be my 4th year at Lewis and Clark Middle School! This year I will be following my students to 8th grade.  I am so excited to see how much they have grown since last year and am very happy to be able to be with them for their last year in middle school.

I have been in Jefferson City School District my entire professional career.  Before coming to LC, I was at Thorpe Gordon Elementary, where I was the Behavior Interventionist and taught grades 2nd and 4th. East Elementary is where my career started as a 3rd-grade teacher for two years. Time moves quickly, and I will start my 23rd year in the JC School District.  I am a Jeff City native and a 1995 graduate of JCHS. GO JAYS!

I am a proud alum of Lincoln University where I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Guidance and Counseling. I also graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master's in Educational Administration.

I recently got married in May, and we enjoyed a wonderful cruise for our honeymoon!  In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy taking walks with our dog, Winston.  Singing is another passion of mine. I sing for all kinds of different events. Reading, working in our yard, going to the movies, live theater, and spending time with family and friends are also things I enjoy doing. Last, I am a Big Sister through the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. I have been matched with my little sister for 10 years. She will be a junior at JC High School this year.

Doing whatever it takes to help students succeed is what I believe! Students, parents, and school staff working together as a team creates an atmosphere for students to do their best and achieve great things!
