I am excited to return to Lewis and Clark Middle School for my 23rd year in education. This will be my 18th year at Lewis and Clark Middle School. The previous five years, I was an assistant principal. Prior to that for 15 years I worked as a special education teacher in co-teaching (7-8) and resource settings (6-8). I worked as a Math Interventionist for two years.
I attended William Woods University for both my Undergraduate Degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education (2001), Master's Degrees in Elementary and Secondary Administration (2004) and Education Specialist in Superintendency (2014). I received my English Language Learner Certification through University of Missouri in 2009. I am currently working on my Education Doctorate.
I was born in Jefferson City, but was raised as an Army brat. My family never stayed anywhere longer than three years. I lived in Georgia, Maryland, Arizona, Kansas, Virginia and Belgium. In my life outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband and two daughters.
