  • Thank you for reading a little bit about me! I am the math teacher on Team Endeavor. This is my fifteenth year at Lewis and Clark. My bachelor's degree was obtained from Southwest Missouri State University in 2002. From there, I began my teaching career in Waynesville Public Schools where I taught 7th and 8th grade Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Language Arts, and Speech and Drama. When my husband received a position in Jefferson City, we moved to Holts Summit, and I began teaching at Auxvasse Elementary for North Callaway R-1. There, I taught Mathematics and Communication Arts to 7th and 8th grade students. I came to Lewis and Clark in 2009 and have been teaching 6th grade Math ever since. In 2015 , I earned my Masters Degree from The University of Missouri in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum.

I am married to Jason Duryea and we have two sons, L and C. You will see us at every Jay's home football and soccer game. You might also run into us at Union Hill Baptist Church, where my husband and I are both on the praise and worship team. I love to sing, be in the fresh air, and serve. I dream of being a rock star, but my passions are that I love math and love to teach. My hope is that my enthusiasm is completely contagious.
