I am so excited to be back at Capital City this year as the new Instructional Coach.  What is an Instructional Coach you may ask?  An Instructional Coach is someone who works with teachers to improve their lessons, which indoubtedly will improve student success.  

A little bit about me:  This will be my 4th year at Capital City High School.  The first three years, I spent in the social studies world. 

I received my degree in history from the University of Missouri at Rolla (now MS&T) and later received my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from William Woods University.  I started out in the high school classroom but have spent 21 years of my career in the elementary classroom.  I have loved being back at the high school level.

I have been married to my husband, Bryan, for 23 years.  I have one daughter, Ella, who is a 2023 graduate from Capital City High School and will be attending MIZZOU in the fall of 2023.

Outside the classroom, I love to spend time with my family and my two dogs.
