I grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri, and attended Jefferson City High School. I then went to Rockhurst University where I got my Bachelors of Science in mathematics and secondary education. I started teaching in 2014 with JCPS and completed the University of Missouri Fellows Program to receive my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. In the fall of 2020, I completed my Specialist Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. Through all my education courses, I have built a teaching philosophy that is centered around students and differentiating my instruction for them. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have three children, two boys and one girl, and a lab dog. While they keep us very busy, we enjoy traveling and watching sports - Go Tigers! Go Cards!
