This is my 12th year teaching and I am so excited to share it with such a wonderful class. I am a former graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, in Maryville with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University. I have since  taught fourth grade, second grade, and third grade. Teaching is my passion and I love getting to know the great community that makes up Lawson Elementary.

Outside of the classroom, my husband, two sons, and I love to be outside. We often go boating, hike a historical trail, camping, or just enjoy the fresh air. With an eye for detail in the winter, I absorb my indoor time with crafts and sewing. When I need a little down time I snuggle up to a new movie. When hanging out with friends and family, I love to play card games or board games.

I am looking forward to getting to know my students this year. Together we will grow and learn through many fun experiences.
