• Entrepreneurship A - Begins with an examination of the characteristics and skills possessed by successful entrepreneurs in history. Students will understand the importance of business in our economic system, its contributions to and its functions in marketing activities, such as determining product, setting prices, selecting distribution channels, and determining appropriate methods of promotion.

    Entrepreneurship B - Students will apply principles learned in Entrepreneurship A by starting their own corporation through the Business Education Department. Local business consultants will conduct interviews to appoint department heads and the company president. Each student will be a member of the production, marketing, finance, public relations, or human resources departments. Departments will issue stock, open a bank account, 40 conduct market research, maintain all financial records, and liquidate the corporation. Throughout this process, the business consultants visit the class once per week to guide the students through the operation of the business, offering advice and assistance. Along wi 

    Marketing - Entry-level marketing course designed to teach the basic principles and functions of marketing. Students will learn how to define and segment a target market. This class will also focus on other marketing principles such as visual merchandising, sales, distribution, and price planning. 

    Personal Finance - Personal Finance introduces the foundational skills necessary to manage money today and in the future. This course teaches students essential skills in such areas as decision-making, career-building, income sources, budgeting, banking services, credit, insurance, and investing. This course is a high school graduation requirement.
