This is my 22nd year teaching orchestra for the Jefferson City School District. I am honored to be the Director of Orchestras at Capital City High School!!! Teaching orchestra is my passion, and I love being able to work with beginners through seniors in high school. It is never a dull moment!
I grew up in Prairie Village, Kansas where I began violin in the 4th grade. I began studying the harp when I was 14. My Bachelor of Music Education was earned from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. I am a Kansas girl...GO JAYHAWKS!!!!
When I'm not at work, I'm at home with my two wonderful boys: Jack, 16 and Max, 9.
We have four kitties: Joe, Walter, Henry, and Roxie.
